What Powers the Ram Revolution?

The Ram Revolution is different from the Ram trucks we've seen in the past, because it does not run on gasoline. Instead, the Ram Revolution is powered by a rechargeable battery pack, which delivers energy to two electric motors, which are what drive the truck forward. These motors are known as EDMs, or electric drive modules. The EDMs are located at either end of the truck, which helps balance the weight across the vehicle's length. For those who are unfamiliar with EVs, it's common to be nervous about the driving range of your vehicle. However, you can rest assured that the Ram Revolution can get you where you need to go! In fact, you can add up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging time when you use the available fast-charging 800-volt DC cable.

What New Features does the Ram Revolution Offer?

While the biggest difference between the Ram Revolution and previous Ram trucks is the powertrain, there are also many other new features that you'll be able to enjoy! The exterior design is very similar to the Ram trucks you already know and love, but there are a few key differences in its layout. First of all, there's a new storage compartment located under the hood of the Revolution, where an engine would usually be. The lack of an engine leaves this space up for grabs, and Ram has chosen to add the new front-facing trunk, or "frunk" for added storage! This frunk is equipped with a one-touch power open and close feature, making it easy for you to load up your cargo. The front of the Ram Revolution features new tuning fork-shaped LED headlights which frame the RAM emblem on the grille.

What are the Design Features of the Ram Revolution?

Now that we've had the chance to describe some of the Ram Revolution's new design features, it's time to talk about some of the tech features this truck has to offer! The Ram Revolution is similar to its other Ram predecessors, in that it includes a wealth of advanced tech features that enhance the driving experience of everyone on board. For example, the Ram Revolution comes equipped with two touchscreens. First, you'll see the central touchscreen, but there's also a removable touchscreen below it that can be used as a tablet while you're on the go! The Ram Revolution can also pair with your smart home features with its Smart Home Control system. This system can allow you to access controls such as thermostat settings, lighting, and more, so that you can control your home settings from the car. It also offers a smart storage app, which can offer real-time measurements of your gear, so that you can make the most of your storage space.
